About Us
Atomic Tangerine wanted to explore the process of how musicians compose, arrange, produce, and write music. Want to find out more about the three students who are behind this project?
Assignment 2: Interviews
Interviews with three separate people who are involved in arranging, composing, writing, and producing music. Discussion of their joys, experiences, and troubles as relate to these activities.
Assignment 3: Empathy Maps
Interviews with two new people who are involved in arranging, composing, writing, and producing music. Empathy maps and POVs for prior interviewees.
Assignment 4: Ideate Solutions and Experience Prototypes
“How we mights” and potential solutions based on prior interviews. Two experience prototype tests to verify core assumptions used in solutions.
Assignment 5: Storyboards
Brief product plans and storyboards for the future concept video. Introducing Allegro: A New Way of Making Music.
Assignment 6: Concept Video
Short concept video introducing Allegro. Portrays background, problem, and three key ways that Allegro is the solution.
Assignment 7: Paper Prototypes
Modality brainstorming, idea refinement, and task flow storyboards for our top design modality. Creation of paper prototypes for these core tasks and two interviews with paper prototypes, complete with user feedback.
Assignment 8: Interactive Prototypes
Updated design sketches and interactive Figma Prototypes. Design pattern analysis, and two new interviews with new feedback.
Assignment 10: Final Report
Final designs and prototype, prototype video, final report, and final presentation. Overview of entire project.
